PulseX’s sacrifice will work same as PulseChain’s sacrifice with few exceptions. The best rate for sacrifice is until Jan 10th. A multiplier system is in place, where minimum is 1x up to 2.5x for the highest sacrifice amount. All sacrifices are publicly visible during the period by checking the public balances of the sacrifice addresses. This way you may know when you want to sacrifice a little more to move up the leaderboard.
Sacrifice points are not meant to have any monetary value. Remember, you are not buying anything. You are part of a group of people who have sacrificed to make a political statement. Some countries tax their citizens when they receive valuables – this is designed to start with no value, which is ideal. Consult your own legal and financial professionals, as nothing said here should be taken as professional advice.
Now, How to buy PulseX?
At the moment, PulseX does not exist yet. You cannot buy it – Beware of any scams out there claiming to be PulseX. The sacrifice phase started on December 30th and will end on February 25th. This means that at this stage you can sacrifice all sorts of different tokens to receive sacrifice points. A full list of tokens can be found on PulseX.Info - It is unknown what will be the rate of sacrifice points to PulseX tokens – but, we assume it will be a 1:1 ratio.
We are currently on day 7 of the sacrifice phase. Over $374,735,877 have been sacrificed already in ETH and other ERC-20 tokens. Track the amount sacrificed on PulseChain.com – though it only includes sacrifices on the Ethereum chain.
How does the sacrifice phase work?
The first 10 days, until Jan 10th, have the best rate. For $1, you get 10,000 Points. So, if you sacrifice $100, you will receive at least 1 Million points (10,000X100).
After Jan 10th, the rate will go up by 5% every day.
We say at least because there is a bonus for the amount you sacrifice. The more you sacrifice compared to others, the higher your bonus. The address that sacrifices the most gets the biggest bonus of 2.5x. The address that offers the least gets 1.0x. So, no bonus. Everyone in between gets a bonus between 1.0x and 2.5x.
The goal of the sacrifice is to be as high as possible in the ranking.
It depends on the USD worth of your crypto at the time you sacrifice it. (There’s a 30 minute time weighted average price mechanism)
Now, how to participate step by step in this sacrificing phase?
Since this is another Richard Heart’s project, most of the sacrificers are HEXicans. HEX was mainly sacrificed, but it does not matter what you sacrifice as long as it’s in the list of acceptable coins.
Step 1): Control your private keys.
We recommend using the Metamask wallet. Make sure you have the real MetaMask. This is metamask.io. Double and triple check this. DO NOT SACRIFICE FROM AN EXCHANGE.
Step 2): Go to PulseX.info or PulseX.com.
PulseX.info is the official sacrifice website. There you can see all accepted chains & coins.
Connect your Metamask wallet to the dApp.
Select the network you would like to use. For example - Binance Smart Chain, for lower fees.
Read the instructions carefully and see what coins are acceptable.
For example, with the BSC network, you will be able to sacrifice BNB, BSC-USD, BUSD, CAKE, DAI, ETH, USDC.
Copy the sacrifice address from the website.
Step 4): Sacrifice via your wallet
- Open Metamask.
- Click on send.
- Paste the sacrifice address – double check it is the correct one.
- Choose the cryptocurrency you are going to sacrifice.
- Choose an amount.
- Click Next, then check everything, then click Confirm.
You will receive a notification within seconds or minutes that your transaction has been confirmed or failed. If it is confirmed, and you used the Ethereum network, you can check your ranking on PulseXLead.com.
If it fails, you have to try again. It often helps if you have no decimal places for any tokens that accept ETH.
The reason could also be that you don't have enough ETH/BNB in your wallet to pay the gas fee.
You can always verify your transaction completed successfully, by searching the sacrifice address in Etherscan, BscScan or the related blockchain scanner to the network you used – and see your transaction.
After that, you wait for the network to launch, after which you will receive your PLSX tokens at the address from which you sacrificed. You will need to add the PulseChain Mainnet Network to Metamask in order to see your PLSX. The launch date is yet to be confirmed, but it is assumed to be around end of February, or start of March 2022.
